Don't miss your chance to get the early bird, discounted rate by registering for the Vermont Statewide Housing Conference by Friday, October 7.

This year's conference on November 14-15, 2016 will feature keynote speakers Kathryn Edin and Luke Schaefer, co-authors of $2 a Day: Living on Almost Nothing in America. These expert poverty researchers discovered that 1.5 million American households are living on virtually no cash income. Their address at the housing conference will describe how this occurred and what it means for public policy.

A book-signing by Edin and Schaefer will follow the keynote address. Phoenix Books in Burlington will be on-site to sell copies of the book.

This conference never fails to deliver critical information in a new way and this year is no exception.  There will be flash "Looking Toward the Future" presentations in the round, special sessions on the outcomes of creative housing partnerships and funding and new types of Housing Hero awards in addition to many other exciting workshops and networking opportunities.

Check out the conference website for a full list of workshops and agenda items.
