Our friends at the Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition (VAHC) have posted six proposals that will be presented at the June 7 Governor's Summit on Housing the Homeless:

These proposals were generated by workgroups that've been meeting for the last several months to come up with recommendations for changes in how we address homelessness. They are not meant to be final or exhaustive, but to help frame and stimulate the discussions at the summit and ultimately lead to new approaches in how we do business.

VHFA strongly encourages all housing organizations to send one or more representative to the summit. Don’t miss this opportunity for your agency’s voice to be heard. There’s limited space, so it’s important to R.S.V.P. now.

The summit will be held 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 7 at the Statehouse. To help organize the day, email the Agency of Human Services’ Diane Nealy. If you plan on attending, R.S.V.P. to 802.241.2244.
