Plan for ending homelessness in Vermont drafted

The Vermont Council on Homelessness has been working on writing a new Plan to End Homelessness and just released a draft for public comment.

Child homelessness remains a widespread U.S. problem

Homelessness among children and teenagers is a chronic problem in Vermont and many other states. In 2011, 838 Vermonters under the age of 18 spent time in the state's shelters, reported the VT Office of Economic Opportunity.
