Vermont’s Department of Economic, Housing and Community Development (DEHCD) will conduct a public hearing to receive comments on its proposed HUD Consolidated Plan 2012 Action Plan on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the Calvin Coolidge room, at the National Life Building North Lobby, Sixth Floor, Montpelier, Vermont.

The plan constitutes the State’s application for, and outlines priorities for use of approximately $12 million in Federal funding provided annually to the State for the Community Development Block Grants (CBDG), Home Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA). The goals of the plan are to provide decent housing, assure a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for Vermont’s citizens.
