It's time for VHFA's annual mitten drive for Burlington's King Street Center and we need your help.  Donations of new mittens, gloves, hats, or scarves  to our office on the corner of King and St. Paul Streets in Burlington are heartily welcome any time before Friday, December 9.  Waterproof gloves and mittens are especially appreciated.

There's also another way to help.  For every new fan that joins our Facebook page by December 8, VHFA will donate a pair of mittens.  Facebook users can visit the VHFA page, and become fans by clicking the “Like” button at the top of the page.

VHFA staff will  stuff each donated item with candy in time to have them distributed to the children and teens at the Center's upcoming holiday party.

The King Street Center is a non-profit community organization that promotes personal and social wellness through educational, recreational, and social programs to give children and families the life-building skills necessary for healthy and productive futures.  The center serves more than 500 children and families each year.
