Primary home sales in January through June of 2013 are occuring at a 4 percent higher pace in Vermont, when compared to 2012,  according to the recently updated Vermont Housing Data website.   The median price statewide was $205,000 during the first six months of year, compared to $196,000 in 2012, a 5 percent increase.

The data site was updated today to include primary home sale volume and price statistics for every town and county in the state for the first six months of 2013.

The site was also updated to include  building permit estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau, median family adjusted gross income and property tax rate statistics from the Vermont Department of Taxes and labor force and unemployment rate information from the Vermont Department of Labor.
