BURLINGTON—Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Lauren Trono of Colchester, VT has joined Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) as Human Resources/ Administration Manager. Lauren comes to VHFA from General Dynamics where she has worked for the past 9 years, most recently as the Senior Human Resources Specialist. Sarah Carpenter states, “VHFA is happy to welcome someone with Lauren's background and skill set. Her professionalism and energy will help the Agency remain one of the best places to work in Vermont. I am proud of our staff's dedication to the Agency's mission and Lauren shares that commitment. She's a great addition to our team.” VHFA is a non-profit agency created in 1974 by the Vermont Legislature to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 28,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,600 affordable rental units.
