This is the latest of several quick bios we'll blog of speakers scheduled to appear at the Vermont Statewide Housing Conference, Nov. 18 in South Burlington.

Dona Bate is President and Owner of dbate speaking, a communications consulting firm in Montpelier that helps clients be successful in their communications and meetings.

Starting with her tenure as president of the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce, Dona has been actively engaged in facilitating groups for local housing collaboratives.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Interdisciplinary degree in Mediation, Law and Community Advocacy from Woodbury College and has been recognized by Toastmasters International for her work with the Distinguished Toastmaster award, the organization's highest, as well as speaking and leadership certificates.

Dona will be presenting at the conference as part of the Building Local Support for Housing Development workshop.
