Sen. Bernie Sanders will hold a series of "town meetings" on the economy and federal budget priorities.

He hopes to discuss ways to prevent cuts to programs that benefit Vermont's working families.

  1. Barre, Saturday, March 19, The Old Labor Hall, 46 Granite St. Free lunch at noon; meeting starts at 1.
  2. St. Albans, Monday, March 21, corner of Church and Bishop streets. Free dinner at 6 p.m.; meeting starts at 7.
  3. Bennington, Wednesday, March 12, Mt. Anthony Union Middle School cafeteria, 747 East Road. Free dinner at 6 p.m.; meeting starts at 7.
  4. South Burlington, Thursday, March 24, South Burlington High School cafeteria, 500 Dorset St. Free dinner at 6 p.m.; meeting starts at 7.
