NOAA tool shows land cover changes over time in Vermont

In the 10 years between 1996 and 2006, the percentage of land cover change in Vermont counties ranged from a low of 0.19% in Grand Isle to 2.79% in Essex County. 

Want to know more?  An easy to use on-line tool at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's website can hone in on county level changes in land covered by forests, wetland, and the built environment.
