When Joe Erdelyi first walked through VHFA’s doors as an intern from the University of Vermont, he had little inkling that he would ultimately become such an integral part of affordable rental housing development in Vermont.   Erdelyi, VHFA’s Development Director, has spent the past twenty years helping non-profit and for-profit developers around the state build and renovate much needed rental housing by overseeing the allocation of housing credits and VHFA loans.

To help celebrate these twenty years, VHFA-ers toasted Erdelyi with a beautiful cake and presented  him with a stately, commemorative chair.   An ode to Joe, written by resident lyricist Sam Falzone, made the event complete and brought smiles to many.
