Time adjustment: Conference keynote

Heads-up that we've adjusted the time of the welcome/keynote session for this Thursday's Vermont Statewide Housing Conference.
Registration will now run from 8 to 8:45 am, with the welcome/keynote session starting at 8:45.
We've added 15 minutes to the welcome/keynote to try and squeeze in as much time as possible with keynoter HUD Sec. Shaun Donovan.

Realtors earn continuing education credits at conference

We received word this afternoon that Realtors who attend three specific workshops at the Nov. 18 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference, along with the morning's keynote address by HUD Sec. Shaun Donovan, will earn five (5) continuing education credits.
To earn the credit, Realtors should attend: "Impacts of Mortgage Lending Changes," "Foreclosing on Vermont," and "Lending on Non-Single Family Home," along with the keynote.
Conference registration open until capacity reached

Registrations for the Nov. 18 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference have been rolling in fast since news broke this week Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development Shaun Donovan will deliver our keynote.
Today had been the deadline to register, but we now plan on keeping registration open a little longer until we reach our capacity of 450.

Conference workshops filling up

Registrations for the Nov. 18 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference continue to roll in.
We expect two workshops will reach capacity today: "What Lies Ahead for Vermont's Housing Economy" and "State Housing Policy Highlights" both have only a seat or two still open.
Not to worry: The day-long event has a total of 20 workshops covering many aspects of housing in Vermont.
