Last Thursday VHFA held its annual Health Awareness Day, an opportunity for staff members to take part in a variety of health and wellness activities.
Our grand prize winner, for registering for and attending two sessions, was Loan Servicing Specialist Carolynn Mossey. Carolynn won a gift certificate to Healthy Living Natural Foods in South Burlington.

VHFA is hosting its annual Health Awareness Day today.
The day-long event is a chance for employees to participate in health screenings and workshops, visit with a variety of health-related vendors, and enjoy a healthy breakfast and lunch.

We received word this afternoon that two more of our housing conference workshops have been approved for continuing education credit by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
"Planning/Zoning: Getting Communities Housing-Ready" and "Green Building" join the four previously announced workshops in offering planners 1.25 hours of AICP credit each.

Affordable housing development organizations should plan to attend the Oct. 29 training on the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act/Section 104(d) of the Housing and Community Development Act.
If you're working on a HUD-funded project (HOME, CDBG, and Section 108 Loan Guarantees) that involves acquisition of real estate or rehabilitation of existing occupied residential or commercial property, you're obligated to comply with these requirements.
