VHFA Assistant Director of Homeownership Programs Jacklyn Santerre has been promoted to Director of Homeownership.

“Jacklyn was our first choice to lead VHFA’s Homeownership Department moving forward,” says Executive Director Sarah Carpenter. “As the second-in-command of the department, she’s been an integral part of the decision making process for the Agency’s home loan programs, as well as a primary force for implementing those programs.”

Jacklyn joined the Agency in 1984. She became Assistant Director of Homeownership Programs five years later.

She'll be taking over the reins for Pat Crady, who's served as Director of Homeownership Programs for 12 years and will retire at the end of June, after devoting 26 years to the Agency.

“Pat’s experience and savvy has helped us through some of the most challenging times of the ever-changing mortgage industry,” Carpenter says. “I join the Agency’s Board of Commissioners in thanking her for her hard work and dedication to VHFA. She’ll be missed.”
