explorerEver wonder which Vermont area has the highest percentage of renters?  Or the highest median household income?   CensusExplorer, a new tool released by the Census Bureau, makes finding out as easy as a few clicks on a map.

CensusExplorer provides estimates from the 2008-2012 American Community Survey for 8 different topics at the state, county, or Census Tract level.    Additional types of estimates are available through the Census Bureau’s American Fact Finder or from the Vermont Housing Data website

(Answer key:  When compared to Vermont’s other tracts, Census Tract 9631 in downtown Rutland has the highest percentage of renters and Tract 33.01 in South Burlington has the highest median household income )
