The Vermont Housing & Conservation Board (VHCB) is seeking concepts for innovative housing development projects. These projects will be funded by the Housing for All Revenue Bond (HRB), which was issued by VHFA on behalf of the state in January. The proceeds of the $37 million bond are administered by VHCB for the development and rehabilitation of owner-occupied and rental housing for Vermonters with very low to moderate incomes. To date, 414 new homes across the state have been developed.

VHFA seeks Executive Director applicants
Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA), located in Burlington VT, is seeking an Executive Director who will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the Agency and as such directs and administers all programs, operations, and activities, and oversees the organization of the staff and departments. The Executive Director serves at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners and performs such duties and functions as they may prescribe, as well as fulfilling the role of Secretary of the Agency.

Attention lenders and affordable housing developers: The 2018 AHP is coming!
The Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Boston’s Affordable Housing Program 2018 funding application period opens on Monday, June 11, four weeks earlier than usual. The program awards grants and low-interest loans through member institutions to organizations promoting homeownership and rental housing for households with incomes at or below 80 percent of the area median income. Approximately $18.1 million in AHP subsidy is available. Applications are due by Thursday, August 2.
