In light of the storm forecast for next week, owners and managers of Vermont's subsidized rental housing are encouraged to be sure that all vacancies are listed in the Vermont Directory of Affordable Rental Housing.
In addition to Vermonters who find themselves in need of rental housing, HUD and FEMA both use this vacancy list to coordinate disaster recovery. We unfortunately had the opportunity to practice this just last year after Tropical Storm Irene flooded many Vermont homes.
