Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) has launched a new video series on how affordable housing works in Vermont and the important housing issues facing our state today.

The videos are narrated by VHFA Executive Director Maura Collins, drawing on her years of experience teaching graduate level housing policy at the University of Vermont (UVM) and leading affordable housing and homelessness work in Vermont. The series is an ideal introduction for people new to the complex network of agencies that are responsible for affordable housing funding in the state to learn how Vermont’s housing needs inform housing policy decisions. Each video is 5-15 minutes in length, offering an informative but approachable learning experience.

VHFA intends to expand the series over time with more videos, including interviews with experts and presenting the latest research conducted by the Agency.

People interested in following the series should subscribe to the Vermont Housing 101 playlist on VHFA’s YouTube channel to get notifications when new videos are released.
