At its annual conference last month, VHFA’s executive director, Sarah Carpenter, was re-elected to the Board of the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) Board of Directors.
Carpenter has served on the NCSHA Board since 2004 in a variety of capacities, including the Working Group on Housing Finance Agencies and the GSE’s, the Legislative and Regulatory Priority-Setting Committee, the Working Group on Improvements to the Housing Bond and Credit Programs, the Working Group on the Future of HFA’s, the Task Force on Special Needs Housing, and the Task Force on Rural Housing.
She has been the Executive Director of VHFA since 1998. She also currently serves on the Board of the Champlain Senior Center, the Vermont Community Development Program and the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board.
