BRITTANY BENTON HIRED AS ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

BURLINGTON—Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Brittany Benton of Winooski, VT has joined Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) as Accounting Specialist. Brittany is a recent graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and a Minor in Finance. Brittany originally hails from Limerick, ME. Tom Connors, VHFA’s Chief Financial Officer commented, “Brittany worked for us on a temporary assignment during the summer and we are excited we were able to offer her a permanent position.” VHFA is a non-profit agency created in 1974 by the Vermont Legislature to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 27,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,400 affordable rental units.
