BURLINGTON— Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced that Kim Roy of Williston and Kathy Curley of Burlington have been promoted. Roy, who has been with the Agency since 1989, was promoted from Multifamily Management Officer to Assistant Director Multifamily Programs. In her new position, she fills the lead role for business process review in conjunction with information technology services and related initiatives for multifamily property development and multifamily management. She also works closely with Director of Multifamily Programs on procedure and policy development for the Agency’s Asset Management and Compliance Monitoring group. Curley was promoted from Tax Credit Compliance Specialist to Tax Credit Specialist/Management Officer I. Her new position includes new Asset Management responsibilities for several multifamily loan portfolio projects. She joined VHFA in 2000. VHFA was created by the Vermont Legislature in 1974 to finance and promote the development of affordable housing opportunities for lowand moderate-income Vermonters. Since it’s inception, VHFA has helped more than 25,000 households with affordable mortgages and financed the creation of nearly 7,000 affordable rental units.
