BURLINGTON—Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Patrick DiMambro of Burlington, VT has joined Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) as Staff Accountant. Patrick is a recent graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting. Besides being one of Champlain’s top accounting graduates, Patrick also served as Director of Finance for the Champlain student government association. Tom Connors, VHFA’s Chief Financial Officer commented, “we look forward to having Patrick’s help working on special projects, including our arbitrage models and organizing year-end audit materials.” VHFA is a non-profit agency created in 1974 by the Vermont Legislature to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 27,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,400 affordable rental units.
