This is the latest of several quick bios we'll blog of speakers scheduled to appear at the Vermont Statewide Housing Conference, Nov. 18 in South Burlington.

Amy Wright is Development Director for Cathedral Square Corp., a non-profit organization that owns and manages affordable properties for seniors and people with special needs. She has more than 25 years of experience in affordable housing finance and development.

Amy has been the lead developer in more than 30 affordable housing developments throughout Vermont, using financing from HUD, Rural Development, the Vermont Housing Finance Agency and private institutions as well partnerships created to use the Low Income Housing Tax Credit.

Her projects have included mixed-use residential/commercial, adaptive re-use of historic buildings, and infill developments.

She'll be presenting at the conference as part of the Planning/Zoning: Getting Communities Housing-Ready workshop.
