Affordable housing development organizations should plan to attend the Oct. 29 training on the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act/Section 104(d) of the Housing and Community Development Act.

If you're working on a HUD-funded project (HOME, CDBG, and Section 108 Loan Guarantees) that involves acquisition of real estate or rehabilitation of existing occupied residential or commercial property, you're obligated to comply with these requirements.

Trainer Frank Bangor has nearly three decades of experience in housing and community development compliance issues.

The training is free and takes place Oct. 29, 8:30 AM-4:30 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriot Burlington Harbor Hotel, in Burlington, Vermont. Parking at the hotel is $8 for the day. Lunch is not included.

For information and to pre-register (required), contact Rick DeAngelis, VHCB, 802.828.3526, [email protected].

Sponsored by the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board, the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Affairs, the Burlington Community and Economic Development Office, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
