The Vermont Department of Economic, Housing and Community Development (DEHCD) is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct and prepare an Analysis of Impediments (AI) to Fair Housing Choice for the State of Vermont in connection with the State’s programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

VHFA has selected Swap Financial Group LLC to perform swap analysis services related to GASB 53.

The 6-person South Orange, N.J., firm was founded by Managing Directors Peter Shapiro and John Keenan in 1998.

The Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) is an independent, private-sector, non-profit organization that establishes and improves standards of financial accounting and reporting for U.S. state and local governments, and authorities.

We've completed our RFP process to select a firm or firms to provide VHFA with financial advisory services.

VHFA has selected Piper Jaffray, our current financial advisor, to continue in its role as the Agency's General Financial Advisor and Swap Advisor.

We've also selected three firms to act as GIC Bidding Agents for VHFA:

VHFA is looking for a firm (or combination of firms) to perform one or a combination of financial advisory services. We've published a request for proposal (RFP) document at vhfa.org to help us in our search.

The contract will likely begin in July. Deadline for replies is April 15.
