When surveyed recently by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, service providers chose availability of job opportunities, state and local budget cuts, and federal budget cuts as the top three most important challenges facing low-and moderate-income communities in New England. Access to affordable housing and home foreclosures rounded out the top five most frequently cited responses.
Review the survey results.
Last month, a survey was sent asking employers about their current employee’s housing needs as well as how housing may be impacting companies’ ability to attract and retain workers. The survey is still open, but the deadline for responding is September 23. If you haven’t already, please spend a few minutes providing your feedback. Take the survey.
Remember, completing the survey enters you in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to a store/restaurant of your choice!
