Seniors living in assisted rental housing managed by Cathedral Square Corporation are among the many happy beneficiaries of a new program run by local florists. Vermont Recycles Flowers is a group of floral designers who create new bouquets with donated and recycled "event" flowers. Event flowers are fresh flowers that are used briefly at a wedding or other function that are then normally discarded.
