This is the final week to submit a nomination to the Vermont Statewide Housing Conference for the 2022 Housing Hero Award. Recipients will be announced during the conference on November 16, 2022.
Since 2002, the Vermont Statewide Housing Conference has recognized individuals through this award whose leadership, vision and actions have brought about positive and lasting change in the way their community or the state regards housing. Nominees should exemplify commitment to expanding opportunities for decent, safe and affordable housing for all Vermonters, an outstanding record of leadership, commitment to public service in Vermont, vision to recognize current housing challenges and create innovative solutions, and the ability to bring Vermonters together towards shared housing goals.
Previous winners include Gisele Kloeckner, Hilary Melton, Governor Madeleine Kunin, Melinda Bussino and Michael Richardson.
