Monthly Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition Membership Meeting

VAHC meeting is canceled for November, the next meeting will be December 12th.

1. Central Vermont Community Land Trust Home Buyer Education Workshop Orientation

  • 5:30 PM-6:30 PM
  • 107 N. Main Street, Barre, VT

The Central Vermont Community Land Trust (CVCLT) is offering a day-long HUD-approved workshop is designed to take you step-by-step through the home-buying process, including budgeting and credit scores, mortgage options, purchase and sale contracts, and much more! You will also learn about special grants and loans to help income-qualified residents purchase a home. There is an $80 per household fee for the workshop  ($70 if paid at orientation; check or money-order only please!), which includes a copy of the Homebuyers Manual, and the cost of running your full credit report. 1. Vermont Statewide Housing Conference

This biennial gathering of housing professionals includes a full day of 18 workshops, plenary session, and keynote address by Xavier de Souza Briggs.   More information available at the conference website.   Walk in registration accepted, as capacity allows.

2. South Burlington Housing Summit

  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Tuttle Middle School Library, 500 Dorset Street, VT
