The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) will receive nearly $1 million in the form is a Sustainable Communities Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
Shelley Poticha, Director of HUD's Office of Sustainable Housing and Communities Department, notifed CCRPC Executive Director Charles Baker of the grant decision last week.
VHFA is one of many partners in the $995,000 grant.
The Agency will receive $75,000 to perform contract work for the county, including producing a Chittenden County housing needs assessment and analysis of impediments to fair housing report, and providing policy advice for communities.
