We've had a chance to tally up the evaluation forms collected at the Nov. 18 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference, and are pleased most attendees were pleased with the event.

A total of 233 people completed evaluations at the event or after the conference through our Web site. They gave the conference an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5.

Our three highest-rated workshops were:

  1. Reinventing Senior Housing for the 21st Century (4.4)
  2. State Housing Policy Highlights (4.3)
  3. Pathways Housing First in Vermont: The First Year (4.3)

We had a nice mix of new and returning attendees: 47% of respondents said the 2010 event was their first conference. Nearly all respondents — 98% — said they'd plan on attending another Vermont Statewide Housing Conference.

"This conference is always filled with great ideas, resources, speakers, and facilitators," one respondent wrote. "Thanks for a 'class act.'"

Another wrote, "I'm new to Vermont and this helped me learn a lot and get familiar with what's happening here."

Free pass winner
We drew at random from folks completing evaluations online and selected Tammy Surprise of USDA/RD to receive a complimentary pass to our 2012 conference, date to be determined.

Congratulations Tammy, and thanks to everyone who took the time to complete an evaluation.
