The Community and Restorative Justice Unit of the Vermont Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking proposals for programs that provide transitional housing for individuals reentering the community from incarceration.
The anticipated grant period will be for State Fiscal Years 2022 & 2023 (July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023), with the option to renew for an additional two-year period. The option to renew will be based upon performance of the grantee and continued funding availability. Grantees will be expected to work closely with local Department of Corrections staff to integrate the housing and services outlined in the proposal with the local Probation and Parole office (P&P).
